1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any SelectionReady application ("the Apps"), including but not limited to PolicePath, ClearancePath, ArmyPath, NavyPath, AirforcePath, ParamedicPath, CorrectionsPath, CommandoPath, and FirefighterPath, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Apps.

2. Description of Service

SelectionReady is an independent training platform providing career entry preparation apps for Australian police, defence, and emergency services roles. Each app offers study modules, fitness standards, scenario training, and mental preparation tools tailored to a specific career path. SelectionReady apps are not official government products.

3. No Official Affiliation

SelectionReady and its apps are not authorised, endorsed, or affiliated with the NSW Police Force, the Australian Defence Force (including the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Army, and Royal Australian Air Force), NSW Corrective Services, Fire and Rescue NSW, NSW Ambulance, or any other government agency or department. All training content is compiled from publicly available sources including official government publications, publicly released fitness standards, and legislative documents.

4. Medical Disclaimer

The fitness programs, training plans, and health-related content in the Apps are for informational purposes only. You should consult a qualified medical professional before beginning any exercise program or making changes to your diet or lifestyle. The Apps are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of content in the Apps.

SelectionReady is not responsible for any injuries, health complications, or adverse outcomes resulting from following any fitness program or training content provided through the Apps.

5. User Accounts

Where an App requires account creation, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials, including your password.
• Providing accurate and truthful information during registration.
• All activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the Apps, including interfering with their normal operation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Apps, their servers, or connected systems.
• Use the Apps for any unlawful purpose.
• Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit content from the Apps without written permission.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Apps without prior written consent.

7. Intellectual Property

All original content, design, code, graphics, and branding in the Apps are the property of Selection Ready (ABN 44 565 174 164). This includes but is not limited to app interfaces, readiness scoring algorithms, training plans, and original written content.

Training content sourced from publicly available government documents (such as published fitness standards, recruitment process guides, and legislative texts) remains in the public domain and is not claimed as proprietary.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Selection Ready is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Physical injuries arising from following fitness or training content.
• Loss of data, including training records and fitness logs.
• Failure to achieve recruitment or selection outcomes.
• Any damages resulting from unauthorised access to your account.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Continued use of any App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via the Apps or email.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Apps are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
